2022 FIBA WWC: Amukamara Set Quarter-Final Target For D'Tigress Sampson Adedeji Ahead of the FIBA Women World Cup slated for Australia, D'Tigress player, Promise Amukamara, has set a quarter-final target for the team, BSNsports.com.ng can report D'Tigress qualified for the competition on Sunday after they recorded back to back win over France and Mali. Amukamara played an active role in the qualification as she put up an amazing performance to ensure that the team returned to winning ways after they lost the first match to China. Amukamara said they are not going to the World Cup to make up the number but to at least get to the quarter-final of the tournament. "I think this tournament was the best one for us because we had to put absolutely everything together with no training camp or preparation. We believed in ourselves. "Now we just have to get back healthy and the sky is the limit. We have already shocked a lot of the world. We won't be just turning up (in Sydney), we will have a different mindset and will be reaching for the Quarter-Finals," she said.
