2022 Handball Championship Suffers Postponement Sampson Adedeji The hope of the 2022 men's handball championship starting as planned has been dashed as the competition suffered postponement, BSNsports.com.ng can report. The draw for the championship was held earlier in the week and Nigeria was placed in group C alongside the host Morocco, Angola and Kenya. Confederation of African Handball championship (CAHB) held its meeting via videoconferencing late on Thursday and announced the competition postponement. The reason for the postponement was not disclosed but it might be as a result of a diplomatic row between Morocco and Algeria which led to Algeria pulling out of the competition. The championship was earlier scheduled to start on the 13th January 2022 but has been postponed to a later date. CAHB apologizes for any inconvenience caused in the preparation of the national selections selected to take part in this competition.
