Sampson Adedeji
When Nigeria's Super Eagles face Cape Verde on Tuesday, 9 players will surely be absent from the encounter,
BSNsports.com.ng can report.
The confirmation was made by the manager of the team Gernot Rohr at a post-match conference.
Before now players plying their trade in the UK are sure to miss the game after their countries insisted that players will not be allowed to travel to covid 19 red alert countries in which Cape Verde is one of them.

Rohr did not mention the names of the affected players and 5 of the 9 players immediately left the camp after the game against Liberia.
"Nine players are leaving and it's all the team, so there will be another team; it's not easy to build another team in only two days and to play on a synthetic pitch.
"We have to build another defence, another midfield. The goalscorer Kelechi will leave, so it will not be easy. It's a challenge for the staff and for the players, but we have to show our solidarity," he stated.
The match on Tuesday will make it the second time the two teams will clash, the first game ended in a 1-1 and it was a friendly match.
