2022 Qatar WCQ: Liberia Back To Winning Way Goes Joint Top With Nigeria Sampson Adedeji Lone Stars of Liberia on Monday evening returned back to winning ways in the ongoing 2022 Qatar World Cup qualifier as they beat the Central African Republic, BSNsports.com.ng can report. Actions continued in the matchday 2 and Kpah Sherman netted the only goal of the game in the 86th minute as Liberia defeated CAR with a lone goal. Liberia lost the first game to Nigeria's Super Eagles at the Teslim Balogun stadium, Lagos weekend. CAR in their own part played out a 1-1 draw against Cape Verde in the opening group game played at Douala Stadium in Cameroon. The result means Liberia now has 3 points as Nigeria but are second in the group due to goal difference and having played one game more.
