After playing out a 1-1 draw against the Central African Republic in the opening group game, Cape Verde manager Pedro Bubista has targeted maximum points against Nigeria,

Despite scoring first against CAR in the match played in Douala Cameroon, Cape Verde were unable to hold on to the led and allowed the host come back into the game.
The team returned home immediately after the encounter and they've intensified preparations ahead of the match.

“Obviously we want to be as strong as possible to look for the three points. As we create opportunities with the Central African Republic, we are confident that we will also be able to create with Nigeria and any other team.
"We always enter the field with a spirit of victory," he said.
The match is slated for Tuesday and African soccer governing body has order that the match should be played behind closed door.
