2022 Qatar WCQ: Rohr Rues Iwobi, Ndidi, Etebo Absence, Expect Tough Game
Sampson Adedeji
Manager of Nigeria's Super Eagles Gernot Rohr has stated that the match against the Central African Republic will not be an easy game for his team, BSNsports.com.ng can report
The Nigeria senior men football team will take on their counterparts for CAR on Thursday in the matchday 3 of the 2022 Qatar World cup qualifier.
While responding to questions after the team training Rohr said the Central Africa team is a physical side and Nigeria will be coming up with entirely new midfield players
"You should expect new faces in the team because we are missing many players, they are injured but we have to face the challenges.
Against Cape Verde, we have to replace 9 players, now it will be difficult again because their team CAR is a physical side but we have to be up technically and play our football and score.
It won't be easy especially with the new midfield, Iwobi, Ndidi and Etebo are not here, we have to replace them within the short time we have and be ready for the match," he said.
The second leg of the match is scheduled for Sunday at the Japoma stadium in Cameroon.
