While reacting to the outcome of the game, Rohr said the target is not to concede in the encounter and it was achieved in the end.
“The job has been done, we want to win our first game at home and also not conceded a goal.“
“We didn’t concede a goal in about four or five games now and it shows that we are stable at the back,” Rohr said at the post-match conference."
The win against Liberia ensured that Nigeria goes top of the group with Cape Verde dropping to second position.
