2022 World Cup Qualifier: Super Eagles Open Campaign With Liberia Clash

By Sampson Adedeji After securing a qualification to the 2021 African Cup Of Nations in Cameroon, Nigeria's Super Eagles will open it's World Cup qualifying campaign against Lone stars Liberia, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The Nigeria side garnered 14 points in 6 matches in the AFCON Qualifiers against Sierra Leone, Benin Republic and Lesotho with losing a single game. The 2022 World Cup qualifiers will commence late in May with match day one and two going down in the first two weeks. May 31st through June 15th, 2021 was announced as the match day 1 and 2 and Super Eagles will face Lone star of Liberia in the match day one before traveling to Central Africa Republic ( CAR) for math day 2. Match day 3 and 4 will be in 30th of August to 7th of September against Cape Verde with first leg slated for Nigeria before jetting out for the reverse fixture. The final two day will against Liberia away in Monrovia before hosting Central African Republic and is slated to 4th to 12th of October. If Super Eagles scale the hurdle of the group stage it will compete in the play off round will are scheduled for 8th to 16 of November 2021. Nigeria's Super Eagles has participated in the last 3 World cups.
