2022 World Cup Qualifiers: CAF Approves Seven Nigeria Stadia By Sampson Adedeji Ahead of the 2020 world cup qualifiers, Africa soccer governing body has released the list of 68 stadia that will stage the matches across the continent, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Seven stadiums from Nigeria are among the approved stadia for the upcoming qualifiers. They are National Stadium (Abuja), Nnamdi Azikiwe stadium (Enugu), Adoke Amaisimaka stadium (Port-Harcourt), Akwa Ibom international stadium (Uyo), Stepehen Keshi stadium (Asaba) Samuel Ogbemudia stadium (Benin) and Teslim Balogun Stadium (Lagos). The approved 68 stadia were drawn from 34 countries. On the other hand, 22 countries, failed to obtained the approval of the committee . They are: Burkina Faso, Burundi, Central Africa, Chad, Eritrea, Gambia, Lesotho, Malawi, Mali, Mauritius, Namibia, Niger, Sao Tome and Senegal. And Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Sudan, Aswatini and Zanzibar.
