2022 World Cup Qualifiers: Super Eagles Set For First Training As 24 Players Hit Camp ..Six Players Expected In Camp By Niyi Busari The Nigeria men’s national football team-the Super Eagles are set to hold their first training session ahead of their 2022 World Cup qualifying matches against Liberia and Cape Verde, BSNSports com.ng can report As at the last count on Monday night, 24 out of the 30 players invited have arrived the Eko Hotel camp base ahead of Tuesday’s planned training session at 5pm at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos. Six players are still being expected to hit camp on Tuesday before the first training session to tune up the players ahead of Friday group C opener. The 24 players who have arrived as at Monday night are; Tyronne Ebuehi, Leone Balogun, Ola Aina, William Troost-Ekong, Maduka Okoye, Terem Moffi, Jamilu Collins, Valentine Ozornwafor, Innocent Bonke, Moses Simon, Shehu Abdullahi, Ahmed Musa, Samuel Kalu, Daniel Akpeyi, Adekunle Adeleke, Alex Iwobi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Oghenekaro Etebor, Francis Uzoho, Henry Onyekuru, Chidera Ejuke, Kingsley Michael, Wilfred Ndidi, Kenneth Omeruo in camp. The three-time African champions are scheduled to host Liberia on Friday at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos and play their second game against Cape Verde before the players depart for their various club base. Nigeria, Liberia, Cape Verde and Central African Republic (CAR) are in group C where only the group leaders qualify for the playoff.
