2023/2024 NPL: Usman Abdallah Wants To Build A Solid Team For Katsina United

The head coach of the newly promoted Katsina United, Usman Abdallah, has made it clear that his target is to build a solid team for Katsina United going into the new season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Katsina United Kano Pillars, Sporting Lagos and Heartland FC are the 4 teams qualified to play in the 2023/2024 Nigeria premier league season.

The coach made the statement during the post-match conference organised after Naija Super 8 game against Remo Stars.

He further stated that their target is not about winning the Super 8 but to have a decent outing in the league next.

" There is a lot of tiredness and I still have to inject some new players. At the same time, it's not about winning the Super 8, it's about making a solid team for next season in the NPL", he said.

They played out a 1-1 draw against the Sky Blue Boys in the Super 8.
