Equatorial Guinea goalkeeper Jesus Owono has revealed how they stopped the Super Eagles stars, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nzalang of Guinea recorded an impressive 1-1 draw against the star-studded Nigeria's Super Eagles and Owono was one of the outstanding performers in the team.

The Deportivo Alaves shot-stopper said that team unity and spirit were the secrets they used to achieve the result.

" The unity in our team made the difference for us against Nigeria.

Our strength was the teamwork we showed on the pitch", he said during the press conference.

The lanky goalkeeper made numerous saves to deny Osimhen and Ola Aina.
