2023 AFCON: "Osimhen Plays With Passion", Says Gyan

Former Ghanaian International, Asamoah Gyan has hailed reigning Africa Best Player, Victor Osimhen for his brilliant performance in the Super Eagles 2-0 win over Cameroon, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Osimhen was in blistering form for the Super Eagles, where he set up the assist for the opener by Ademola Lookman. 

Gyan, who posted on his official X handle subtly lashed out to the Black Stars of Ghana, who were knocked out from the competition in the group stage. 

According to Gyan; "Osimhen plays with passion. That’s what every country wants their players to do."

Nigeria will next face Angola in the Quarter-Finals of the 2023 AFCON.
