2023 AFCON: "Super Eagles Confident Of Beating Cameroon" - Omeruo

Kasimpasa defender Kenneth Omeruo has insisted that the Super Eagles are confident of getting the victory over Cameroon, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Super Eagles will face the 5-time champions Cameroon in the round 16 of the African Cup of Nations and Omeruo said they are ready to face any opponent in the competition.

“Cameroon is a familiar AFCON opponent for us. We have played against them seven times before in the AFCON.

“We are focused on our preparation. We believe in the coaches to provide us with the right tactics to beat them.

“We are confident, after the last game, we resolved that we are ready to face any opponent. We just have to stick to our game plan and work hard on the pitch", he told NFF TV
