2023 AFCON: Abubakar, Njie Back For Nigeria Clash

After the group stage games, the duo of Cameroon international Vincent Abubakar and Clinton Njie are back in training, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Indomitable Lions defeated the Gambia 3-2 in the final group game to secure their place in the round of 16 of the African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

Abubakar sustained a hamstring injury on the eve of the tournament and he has been certified fit to return to training.

 "The returns to collective training of Vincent Aboubakar and Clinton Njie, now available for the rest of the competition", the federation statement said.

Cameroon will face the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the round of the game on Saturday.
