2023 AFCON: Beware Of Cameroon, Eto'o Warns Nigeria, Others

Ahead of the 2023 African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, the President of the Federation of Cameroon Football Samuel Eto'o Fils has warned Nigeria's Super Eagle and other participants to beware of the Indomitable Lions, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Despite winning the competition for a record 5 times, Cameroon is not considered one of the strong favourites to lift the tournament in January.

But the former Barcelona striker has warned all other countries to be wary of his country.

“ It is true that we are not expected on the podium final, but do not forget that we are Cameroon and the Cameroon remains Cameroon. 

We will humbly go Ivory Coast share this moment of happiness with our African brothers. 

And we hope that our team will have one of the best performances in this tournament,” he said 

Cameroon last won the competition in 2017 beating Egypt in the final.
