2023 AFCON: Dont Wait For My Mistakes - Nwabali

Nigeria's Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has said they shouldn't wait for his mistakes, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Chippa United goalkeeper has become Nigerian number one since the start of the 2023 African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

And he gave a good account of himself in the game against Equatorial Guinea and Ivory Coast.

While speaking to former BBC Reporter, Osasuo Obayiuwana, Nwabali said it's time to encourage everyone.

" Talking about Nigeria having problems with goalkeepers, it happens everywhere but what I want to say is that don't wait for my mistakes.

You don't wait that when I make a mistake and you come out to talk but instead it is time to encourage everyone", he said 

Nwabali is expected to continue in goal when Nigeria face Guinea Bissau in the final group game on Monday.
