2023 AFCON: Good News For Nigeria As Moffi Set To Return To Action On Wednesday

It was good news for Nigeria's Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro as the French Ligue One club OFC Nice medics said the striker Terem Moffi is likely to be back in action this Wednesday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Nice suffered its first defeat of the season on Saturday to Le Havre without the Nigerian International who was down with injury.

The coach of the team, Francesco Farioli on Tuesday stated that Moffo has resumed training and if things go according to plan he may be back in action for the Wednesday game against RC Lens.

"We will try to get him. Today he will train with the team; we will see how he reacts. We hope to get him back but we won’t take any unnecessary risks. If the player feels like it, he will be in the game, otherwise, we will do without him", he said.

Moffi is among the players who may likely make the Super Eagles team to the 2023 African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
