2023 AFCON: Huge Cash Rewards For Angolan Players

The players and technical crew of the Palancas Negras of Angola are in a joyous mood after they were handsomely rewarded for their efforts in Ivory Coast, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Angolans reached the quarter-final of the competition for the first time since 2010 before bowing out with a narrow loss to Nigeria.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria defeated Angola by a lone goal courtesy of Ademola Lookman.

The players were promised several goodies if they could overcome Nigeria but it was never meant to be.

Despite the defeat, the Angolan bank Banck Keve rewarded each USD 9.600 for the effort in the competition.
