2023 AFCON: Lookman Clinches Man Of The Match Award

Following his outstanding performance against Cameroon, Atalanta of Italy forward Ademola Lookman has been named as the Man of the Match, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Super Eagles thrashed the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon 2-0 with the skilful winger scoring both goals.

This game seems to be the best game he has played for the country since he made his debut a few years ago.

He opened the scoring in the 36th minute before sealing the game in the 90th minute and ensured a quarter-final ticket for Nigeria.

He edged his compatriots Victor Osimhen and Calvin Bassey to the award.
