2023 AFCON: Peseiro Await Yusuf's Scan Result

Ahead of the second game clash against the Elephants of Coted'Ivoire, the coach of Nigeria's Super Eagles Jose Peseiro is awaiting a scan result of the midfielder, Alhassan Yusuf, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Royal Antwerp star player coped with the injury during the opening group match against Equatorial Guinea on Sunday.
He was replaced by the Southampton player Joe Aribo in the 69th minute.
According to the update from the team camp, Yusuf went to the hospital today to have a scan and the coach is already awaiting the result.
It remains to be seen if Yusuf will be fit enough to face the host on Thursday.
