2023 AFCON: Super Eagles Call-Up Excite Rivers United Goalkeeper

Newly invited Rivers United goalkeeper Victor Sochima has expressed his excitement following his maiden call-up to the camp of the Super Eagles, BSNSports.com.ng report.

The Pride of Rivers has been doing excellently well this season both in the league and in the CAF Confederation Cup and Sochima is one of the main reasons for the performance.

The lanky goalkeeper has proved to be amazing and the performance earned him a spot in the Super Eagles team preparing for the doubleheader qualifier against Guinea Bissau.

" It has been God all through, I'm thankful to everyone that has supported my career to achieve this great feat", he said.

After helping Rivers United to qualify for the quarter-final of the Confederation Cup on Sunday by playing a 2-2 draw against Diable Noirs, Sochima has resumed the camp of the national team.
