2023 AFCON: Super Eagles Group Opponent Suffers Defeat

Qualified countries for the 2023 African Cup of Nations continue their preparation for the upcoming competition with a series of warm-up games, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

As at the time Super Eagles of Nigeria were engaging the Green Falcons of Saudi Arabia, its group opponents, Guinea Bissau were also in action.

Guinea Bissau played against Guinea in an international and it ended in a 0-1 defeat for Nigeria's Group A opponents.

The only goal of the match was scored by Lens striker, Morgan Guilavogui, in the 72nd minute of play. 

Guinea Bissau is not new to Super Eagles having clashed in the qualifier of the biennial competition.

Host Ivory Coast and Equatorial Guinea are the two other teams in the group.
