2023 AFCON: We Are Physically And Mentally Ready - Onyeka

Brentford FC midfielder Frank Onyeka has urged his Super Eagles teammates they be physically and mentally ready for the upcoming 2023 African Cup of Nations, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 3-time African champions will start their campaign in Ivory Coast with a clash against Equatorial Guinea before facing the host Elephants of Coted'Ivoire and the Djurtus of Guinea Bissau later in the competition.

While speaking about the competition, Onyeka admitted that it is always difficult to play against an African team and they have to be on top of their game.

"The draws we had in the last two games is something we need to learn from.

“African teams are not easy to play against and it’s something that we need to prepare ourselves mentally and physically for ahead of the AFCON. We know what it takes to win the AFCON", he said.
