Former First Vice president of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Seyi Akinwunmi has thrown his weight behind Super Eagles to win the 2023 African Nations Cup to be hosted by Ivory Coast in January, 2024.

On Friday, three-time African champions were drawn in Group A with the hosts, Ivory Coast, Equatoral Guinea, Guinea Bissau. Reacting, Seyi Akinwunmi who was a Special Guest at the final match of the 6th edition of Sheroes Cup at the Aguiyi Ironsi Cantonment, Abuja, said no team in the group can stop the Eagles from qualifying for the Round of 16.

"Super Eagles will surely qualify from Group A with the quality of players we are parading in the team.

" No disrespect to other teams but right now, no team in Africa can stop Super Eagles and Super Falcons in Africa, so, I tip Eagles to win the fourth title in Cote D'Ivoire."

He also supported and believe in the 'Let's do it again', mantra of the NFF President, Ibrahim Gusau will come to reality. The 'let's do it again' is a campaign urging the Super Eagles to win the next African Nations Cup.
