2023 AFCON Fallout: Indomitable Lions Assistant Coach Resigns As Song Hangs On

Massive resignation is still on among the technical crew of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon following their poor showing at the 2023 African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

After struggling to qualify from the group stage, the 5-time African Champions suffered a 2-0 defeat to the Nigeria's Super Eagles in the round of 16.

The assistant coach of the team Sebastian Migne on Monday evening tendered his resignation letter to the federation.

Migne was the first assistant to coach Rigobert Song and his resignation came as a surprise to many who believed he was a good addition to the team.

Despite the pressure, Coach Song is yet to officially announce his resignation from the team.
