2023 AFCON Fallout: Nwabali Apologises To Nigerians

Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has apologised to Nigerians about the outcome of the final game, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Despite a strong showing, the Nigerian side suffered a 2-1 defeat to the Elephant of Coted'Ivoire in the match played at the Alassane Quattara stadium.

The Chippa United goaltender apologised to Nigerians through his social media handle and further thanked them for their support.

"A disappointing and frustrating end. I deeply apologise to Nigerians. I was once a fan, still a fan and I understand how it feels giving you a disappointing night. 

We take full responsibility. Thanks for the whole support till the end. I love you all", he said.
