2023 AFCON Qualifier: Bright-Osayi Doubtful For Sierra Leone Clash

The availability of the Fenerbahce right wing-back Bright-Osayi Samuel for the upcoming 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone remained uncertain, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The former QPR star sustained an injury on his left thigh during training and has to undergo a test to determine the extent of the wound.

After the test, he has to undergo Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) at Altunizade Acibadem Saglik Grubu Altunizade Hospital.

"Our player's treatment began for bleeding and tearing due to the left thigh muscle injury,” the Turkish club said.

The time and period Osayi will spend in the treatment room are yet to be disclosed.

Since making his debut, the right wing-back has been impressive in his performance with the Super Eagles.
