2023 AFCON Qualifier: Nigeria Wallop Sao Tome & Principe 10-0 To Set Record For Biggest Winning Margin

Napoli's striker Victor Osimhen was the hero on Monday afternoon as Super Eagles taught Sao Tome a bitter lesson, BSNsports.com.ng report.


Nigeria proved too much for Sao Tome right from the blast of the whistle scoring the first goal in the 12th minute through Osimhen.


The Lagos born striker made two quick assists for Nantes FC winger, Moses Simon in the 28th and for Terem Moffi in the 43rd minutes ensuring that Nigeria returned to the dressing room with a comfortable lead 


Oghenekaro Etebo netted the 4th goal for Nigeria in the 55th minute through an incredible direct free-kick before Nantes forward completed his brace and made 5 in the 60th minute 


Leicester City winger, Ademola Lookman, scored his first goal for Nigeria and made 6-0 in the 64th minute before Osimhen scored the 7th goal a minute later.


The Italy-based striker completed his hat trick in the 84th minute and made 9-0 for Nigeria before substitute Watford FC attacker Emmanue Dennis completed the demolition with the 10th goal in the 90th minute and ensured that Nigeria recorded her biggest win in football history.
