2023 AFCON Qualifier: Our Aim Is To Pick Maximum Points In Morocco - Peseiro

Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro has declared that his boys are ready to go all out and pick the three Maximum points in Morocco, BSNsports.com.ng gathered


The Nigeria side came back from a goal down to beat the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone in the matchday One of the 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifier played at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja on Thursday.


The team departed for Agadir Morocco venue of the second group match against Sao Tome and Principle on Saturday night and arrived in the early hours of Sunday.


On their arrival, the Portuguese gaffer reaffirmed that their priority in the Northern African country is to win.


" Our aim here (in Agadir) is to win. I take every game seriously and I expect the same from my players.


The result they (Sao Tome) got against Guinea Bissau doesn't mean anything. We have to go out and win," he said.


Sao Tome adopted Morocco for their home after their national stadium failed to meet requirement of CAF for hosting the qualifier.


They lost dangerously to Guinea Bissau on Thursday and will be hoping to bounce back against Nigeria.
