2023 AFCON Qualifier: Sierra Leone To Camp In Guinea For Super Eagles Clash

In preparations for the opening group game against the Nigeria's Super Eagles, Leone Stars of Sierra Leone is set to open camp in neighbouring Guinea for the game, BSNsports.com.ng understand.


Sierra Leone will be the guest of the Super Eagles on the opening day of the 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifier at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.


Team head coach John Keister and his technical crew are expected to arrive in Conakry, Guinea on Wednesday morning with the 25 invited players joining them later in the day.


The Sierra Leone Football Association delegation led by its president Thomas Daddy Brima will join them on Friday ahead of the Nigeria trip.


Sierra Leone played in the 2021 edition of the competition in Cameroon will host Guinea Bissau in the second group match.
