2023 AFCON Qualifier: We Must Be At Our Best Against Sierra Leone - Peseiro

Super Eagles of Nigeria head coach Jose Peseiro has made it clear that they must at their best to beat the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone on Sunday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Third-placed Leone Stars will host Super Eagle at SKD Stadium in Liberia with the sole aim of achieving a win if they want to qualify for the 2023 AFCON in Ivory Coast.

Ahead of the game, the Portuguese gaffer said they are aware that Sierra Leone will make the game difficult for them but they are ready.

“It will be a difficult game.

“In the last three matches against Sierra Leone, we drew two and only won the last meeting last year in Abuja.

“Sierra Leone are a good team and they only beat us to stand a chance of qualifying for the AFCON.

“We, therefore, have to be at our best organization and commitment and play a collective game against them", he said.
