Ahead of the 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifier, the African soccer ruling body has issued an ultimatum to all the member associations including the Nigeria Football Federation, BSNsports.com.ng gathered



48 qualified countries including Nigeria were drawn into 12 groups of 4 teams earlier in the week with the top two qualifying for the competition proper.


According to information passed to the member associations, they have been asked to submit the venue they will use for their home games in the qualifier not later than April 29th.


On Thursday, the inspection team of the football body concluded arrangements to start moving around the qualified countries to inspect their facilities.


Teams that failed to make the deadline date or do not measure up to the required standard will have to play their home games away from home.


The qualifiers are scheduled to commence in June while the competition will take place in the summer of 2023.
