The Super Eagles have been drawn in Group A of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers with Sierra Leone, Guinea-Bissau and São Tomé and Principe, BSNSports com.ng reports.
The draw was held on Tuesday evening in Randburg, Johannesburg, South Africa.
Nigeria, who exited the last Afcon in Cameroon in the Round of 16, are favourites to qualify from the group.
The qualifiers will start in June 2022.
There are 12 groups and the top two teams of each group will automatically qualify for the tournament.
The draws were held at the SuperSport Studios in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The top two teams of each group qualify for the final tournament that will be held in Ivory Coast in 2023.
