The preparation of the Eagles of Mali for the 2023 African Cup of Nations suffered a big blow as one of the players in the team has been ruled out, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The update coming from the team's camp indicates that the team striker Ibrahim Kone will not be available for the competition.

Almeria forward sustained the horrific injury during a warm-up game between Mali and Uganda.
