2023 African Games: LOC Confirms Sports Codes

Barely a month to the start of the 2023 African Games in Accra, Ghana, the Local Organising Committee (LOC) has confirmed sports codes for the events, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

According to the release, 29 Sports will be competed for and 6 of them will be demonstration events.

They further stated that 8 of those sports will serve as the Olympic Games qualifiers while the rest will be non-Olympic Games qualifiers.

Team Nigeria athletes have been scheduled to participate in the 25 sports and the whole of the 8 Olympic Games qualifiers.

The African Games will run from the 8th of March to the 23rd of the same month.
