2023 Afrocan Qualifier: D'Tigers Suffer Defeat To Angola

D'Tigers hope of getting second straight win in the ongoing Afrocan qualifier suffered a big blow on Monday evening as they were defeated by the hosts, Angola, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian side secured a good win over Mali in their first game but found Angola a hard nut to crack in the second match.

The host took the game to Nigeria right from the first quarter and secured a comfortable 19-9 win.

Angola continue its domination in the 2nd quarter with a 40-21 win and also clinched the 3rd quarter 49-33.

They wrapped up the game with a 57-48 win and dumped the D'Tigers to the second position in the group. Angola won their two Group B games while D'Tigers won one and lost one.
