2023 CAFWCL: CAF Selects Nigeria Female Referee

After missing several competitions and matches last year, the Confederation of African Football( CAF) has finally selected one Nigerian female referee for the Women's CAF Champions League, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The football body listed FIFA badged Yemisi Akinloye as one of the 17 referees that will officiate the competition that is currently underway in Ivory Coast.

Akinloye is one of the best referees in the land as she got her FIFA badge in 2021.

She is very experienced having been to a few international competitions which include, the WAFU Women Champion’s League, and the Aisha Buhari Tournament, among others.
