2023 CHAN Qualifiers: Salisu Drills Super Eagles Few Hours After Arrival From Ghana

After losing the first leg on Sunday, Nigeria's Super Eagles team B has returned to Abuja and commenced preparation for the make-or-burst return leg tie against rivals Ghana on Saturday, BSNsports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian side lost 2-0 to the Black Galaxies in the first leg of the Championship of African Nations qualifiers played at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday.

After a goalless first half, Afriyie Barnie netted the opening goal for Ghana from the penalty spot before Suraj Seidu sealed the game with the second goal towards the tail end.

The team landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport in Abuja on Monday evening and immediately swing into readiness for the second leg match.

Super Eagles must score three unreplied goals at MKO Abiola stadium in Abuja on Saturday to have a chance of qualification for the CHAN competition in Algeria.
