2023 FIBA Women Afrobasket: D’Tigress Beat Egypt

Defending champions Nigeria's D'Tigress continued their impressive performance in the ongoing 2023 FIBA Women Afrobasketball Championship in Kigali, Rwanda with another win against Egypt, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian side on Friday walloped DR Congo to send a warning signal to all the potential opponents in the championship.

Egypt defeated DR Congo on Saturday to set up a titanic battle against the Nigerian team.

D'Tigress dominated the opening quarter and secured an 18-10 win and continued the dominance into halftime to get a 23-42 victory.

The result never changed going into the 3rd quarter with Nigeria dominating to win the set 56-42.

D'Tigress wrapped up the game in the final quarter with an emphatic 83-65 victory.
