2023 FIBA World Cup Qualifier: Cote d'Ivoire Name Tough Squad For D'Tigers

Barely 24 hours to the start of the 4th window of the 2023 FIBA Africa World Cup qualifier, host Cote d'Ivoire has finally named their 12-man team, BSNsports.com.ng has gathered.

The team started preparations two weeks ago with home-based players in camp and they played a series of friendly games including games against Tunisia and DR Congo.

The invited foreign players joined the camp earlier in the week and after three days of intensive training the team coach Dejan Prokic announced his 12-man list.

Ivory Coast are currently with the best records from the previous windows recording 6 wins from 6 games.

Playing at home will give them another advantage as they will be facing Nigeria's D'Tigers in the group opener on Friday.

Their last two matches will be against Cape Verde and Uganda.
