2023 FIBA World Cup Qualifier: D'Tigers Placed In 9th Position

After the completion of the 4th window of the FIBA World Cup qualifier, FIBA Africa has released the standing of the African team where D'Tigers are placed ninth on the log, BSNSports. com.ng has gathered.

The Nigeria's men's senior national team, D'Tigers put up poor performance in the qualifier that was held in Abidjan, Cote D'Ivoire.

The latest standing released put the Nigeria side in a distance 9th position which further jeopardize their ambition of qualifying for the World Cup. Only five African nations will participate in the FIBA world Cup.

The host of the 4th window qualifier Ivory Coast sat on top of the 12-team table, followed by South Sudan and Egypt in 3rd position.

Only Cameroon, Guinea and Uganda are ranked below Nigeria in the released rankings.

Though difficult, D'Tigers still have the February window to rely on for their World Cup qualification.
