2023 FIBA World Cup Qualifier:Musa Kida Expresses Optimism On D'Tigers Qualification

Ahead of the opening game of the 4th window of the 2023 FIBA World Cup qualifier against Cote d'Ivoire, President of the Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) Engr Musa Kida has expressed his optimism on D'Tigers, BSNsports.com.ng reports.
D'Tigers and 11 other African teams are competing for five slots allocated to the continent in the 2023 World Cup.
The team under Coach Mike Brown resumed training last weekend and Kida was at their training on Thursday ahead of the Friday clash.
Kida said he remained confident that D'Tigers will subdue every opposition and secure a ticket to the global showpiece.
"I am happy with what I have seen so far with your training. It’s very exciting and encouraging.
"I’m confident that you would do Nigeria proud by winning your matches, beginning on Friday against the host nation Cote D’Ivoire,†he said.
Uganda and Cape Verde are the two other countries D'Tigers will face in the group.
