2023 FIFA U20: NFF Issues May 1st Ultimatum To Foreign Based Players

The Nigeria Football Federation has issued 1st May, 2023 as the ultimatum for the arrival of the 12 invited players foreign based players into the camp of the Flying Eagles, BSNSports.com.ng can report.
The federation had sent invitations to 12 foreign based players to join the Flying Eagles camp ahead of the 2023 FIFA U20 World Cup in Argentina.
Flying Eagles coach, Ladan Bosso released the list of 39 players invited for the FIFA age-grade competition which consists of many players that participated at the just-concluded CAF U20 African Nations Cup in Egypt.
And in order to further strengthen the team ahead of the competition the Nigeria Football Federation has dispatched letters of invitation to 12 foreign-based players to join the team in Abuja.
According to sources, the twelve foreign-based players officially invited to attend Flying Eagles pre-World Cup camp are as follows; Kenny Coker - Norwich City (England), Joel Ideho - Arsenal (England), Michael Ologo - Istanbulspor (Turkey), Osakpolor Alessandro Odobo - Lechia Gdansk (Poland), Olubi Adams - Unatached, Oshaba Onuh- NK Hask (Croatia), Abel Ogwuche - Trelleborg (Sweden), Abdullahi Ibrahim Bewene - FC Banik Ostrava (Czech Republic), Ume Emmanuel - Botev Plodviv (Bulgaria), Tochukwu Nnadi - Botev Plodviv (Bulgaria), Ebenezer Akinsanmiro - Inter Milan (Italy) while Victor Eletu - AC Milan (Italy) completes the list.
These players will be closely monitored by the Flying Eagles coaches in the coming days.
The 2023 FIFA World Cup will be hosted by Argentina and will commence on 20th May to 11th June 2023. Nigeria are in the same group with Brazil, Italy and Dominican Republic.
