2023 Hockey Championship: Nigeria Withdraw From Junior African Cup

When teams across the continent begin contesting for the Junior African Cup, it will surely be without the Nigeria team, BSNSports.com.ng report.

The organiser of the event on Saturday confirmed that Nigeria and Ghana have pulled out of the competition slated to hold in Ismaila, Egypt.

The reason for the withdrawal of Nigeria was not stated as they released the list of the participating teams.

South Africa, Zimbabwe, Kenya and Egypt are the team that will play in the men's category and they will also compete in the Women's category.

The championship is slated for the 12th - 16th of March, 2023.
