England booked their place in the round of 16 of the FIFA Women's World Cup with a massive 6-1 victory over China, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Chelsea forward Lauren James played an active role in the demolition of China.

James scored twice in the game and assisted in the other goals scored by Russo, Lauren Hemp, Chloe Kelly and Rachel Dally.

The victory recorded by the European champion means they will face Nigeria's Super Falcons in the round of 16 of the competition slated for Brisbane on Monday.
