2023 Women's World Cup: FIFA Unveils New Ball For Semi-Finals

Despite the ouster of Africa's representatives including Nigeria's Super Falcons, the dramas and thrills of the 2023 Women's FIFA World Cup continues as the competition reached the crescendo, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Most African representatives started the competition on a shaky note but 3 of the 4 representatives still found their way into the round of 16.
The Netherlands defeated South Africa 2-0 and France walloped Morocco 4-0, while European champions England had to rely on a penalty shoot-out to oust the hard fight Super Falcons.
The tournament has reached the semi-finals and the World soccer ruling body has unveiled a new set of balls that will be used for the stage.
Pairings for the last four has been released, Spain will confront Sweden and England will tackle the host Australia.
After suffering a shocking 2-3 loss to Nigeria, the Matildas of Australia have become a strong contender for the trophy.
This year's Mundial will produce a new winner as none of the remaining teams has been able to lift the trophy in the past.
Only 4 countries, Japan, Norway, Germany and the United States have won the Cup in the past.
