2023 Women's World Cup: NFF Awaits $960k FIFA Largesse, As SAFA Gets Thiers For Bayana Bayana Preparations

Ahead of the 2023 Women's World Cup, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is yet to receive its $960k FIFA grant; as the World soccer ruling body has started giving money to the qualifying countries to aid their preparations, BSNSports.com.ng has gathered.
Thirty-two countries including Nigeria's Super Falcons have picked their tickets to participate in the biggest women's football.
The Super Falcons finished 4th behind South Africa, Morocco and Zambia in the 2022 Women's African Cup of Nations held in Morocco.
According to an update from South Africa, Bayana Bayana has received $960,000 from FIFA as money for their preparations for the tournament.
Other qualified countries like Nigeria will get the same amount of money from the football body before the end of January 2023.
