2023 Women's World Cup: South Africa On The Brink, Surrenders 2-Goal Lead To Argentina

Banyana Banyana of South Africa's hopes of progressing into the knockout rounds of the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup is on the brink following their draw against Argentina, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
South Africa looked on track to pick up their first-ever World Cup win as goals from Linda Motlhalo and Thembi Kgatlana put them 2-0 ahead.
But Sophia Braun pulled one back for Argentina in the 74th minute before Romina Nunez headed in to level the scores.
The result means both sides pick up their first point in Group G and are two points behind Italy and Sweden, who play on Saturday.
Argentina face Sweden in their final match while South Africa play Italy.
