2023 Women's World Cup: Underrate Us At Your Peril - Waldrum

Super Falcons coach Randy Waldrum has sent a warning signal to their potential opponents, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

After playing out a goalless draw against Canada in the opening group game, Falcons came from behind to beat the host Australia 2-3 in Brisbane on Thursday.

While speaking ahead of the match, the American gaffer said, his team has been underestimated and under-appreciated.

“I would say that we were underestimated and under-appreciated.

“Hopefully we’ve proven that to the world right now that we belong in a higher place", he said.

Nigeria will face the Republic of Ireland in Brisbane on Monday.
